Summer Holidays with Family Adventure Holidays

So when exactly was it that the family summer holiday become all about the children? There is that well-known phrase (which is very true, of course) – if the kids are happy then we are happy! How about a new concept, adults are happy and so too are the kids. This is exactly what can happen if you find the right balance on a family holiday. Something for everyone, hard to find sometimes but it really is possible.

Family organized fun

Sounds awful, right! Being surrounded by other families all looking to enjoy themselves in a friendly environment made easy with optional activities laid on? Again, dreadful. Or is it? Could it actually be that you find yourselves on a holiday with like-minded people!?

Awkward, yes, maybe for all of around 10 minutes before the first aperitif is served and the team of animateurs (local French hosts/entertainers) introduce themselves and get the family week of fun started.

Holiday activities for children - and adults!

Still reading? Great! How does bushcraft, archery, axe throwing (adults only), and stand up paddle boarding sound? Super for kids, maybe not so much for you? How about a trip to Le Touquet – the animateurs play beach games inviting you to join in or to leave the kids whilst you wander off and see the museum showing modern and contemporary art, French market, lighthouse, the list goes on! Or a town trail around Bolougne sur Mer?

French cuisine (no children included!)

Okay, enough with the culture, perhaps you are a foodie? How about 2 evenings when the children are entertained with various activities including an Escape Room and you are invited to a beautiful French 4 course dinner. And absolutely NO CHILDREN!

Still not sold? How about a wine and cheese journey, our team are not connoisseurs but being French they do know a bit about wine and cheese?
