The great advantage of the location of the Grand' Ferme is the ease of access from UK ferry ports, airports and the Channel Tunnel. Most of our families opt to self-drive via a channel crossing but should you want to fly or travel as foot passengers it's possible to arrange a pre-determined pickup.
You can find information on how to get to us below along with a map of our exact location.
Depending on the type of crossing you prefer there are a number of operators to choose from. Duration, cost and comfort are all factors you may consider so our advice is to contact operators directly to find the right option for you.
P&O Ferry Crossing Dover - Calais: This is by far the best-value crossing for driving to Normandy. Allow 4.5 hours to get from Calais to La Grand' Ferme.
Prefer not to bring your car? Take advantage of our return transfer service. Whether you travel by plane to Dinard, or cross the channel on foot we can arrange a Saturday pick up at a pre-determined location and drop off a week later. Please specify your requirements when confirming your booking. If you are unsure what arrangements suit you best feel free to call us for more detail - 01273 80 30 30. Transfer information must be confirmed within 8 weeks of travel.
If you're in any way unsure of the best travel options for your family please get in touch - we'd be very happy to offer any advice you require.
