Accommodation at La Grand' Ferme
With a unique set of buildings, 3 acres of grounds and a view of Le Mont St. Michel, La Grand' Ferme is a lovely location for your family adventure holiday. Our kitchen is staffed by French chefs and all meals are inclusive. The centre comprises of family rooms with en-suite shower rooms and yurts. We also have a games room for evening entertainment, a large conservatory, swimming pool, sand volley ball and astro court. There is even a washing machine and tumble dryer. La Grand' Ferme offers a relaxed, informal and intimate atmosphere where many friendships are made.
All activities are hosted within the beautiful grounds and surrounding area.
As it is fully expected that our families will spend virtually no time in their quarters, the bedrooms are relatively sparse with only a bed and some clothes storage containers. Each room has private shower/toilet facilities. Many of our family rooms have double beds and bunk beds for the children.
The main house comfortably accommodates up to 11 families and the gite can accommodate up to 11 families. We also have 3 yurts in our Camping Village all have power for lights and for charging phones. The yurts have a double bed and bunk beds.
We provide all bed linen with the exception of towels and the facilities to make hot drinks can be found across the property.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner/supper and hot and cold drinks (squash) are provided as standard. For those guests so inclined our home grown cider along with beer and wine is available (in limited supply!) throughout the evening.
La Grand' Ferme
The main house and barn were built around 1780 out of stone from an abbey destroyed during the Revolution. The property now comprises 3 main buildings, the main house, where up to 8 families can stay, the new gite which accommodates up to 5 families plus a games room with an adult lounge on the mezzanine floor. Both overlook our sports fields and grounds.
La Grand' Ferme is very popular amongst UK private schools for its 'Normandie à la Carte' programmes during term time and you can read more about these and the centre at; www.frenchschooltravel.com
