Our family of five had a fantastic week at the Château. We stayed in a yurt in the woodland village and it was a big adventure having to walk through the forest with a torch to get back in the evening. My nine and ten year old spent the whole time outdoors being active (even when it rained) and made many friends. They were occupied all day, every day and didn’t want to miss any of the activities. The sense of community was great with all the staff being very friendly and helpful and the activities helped encourage the children and adults make new friends.
My two year old enjoyed exploring the grounds and wouldn’t stay in one place, so it was quite exhausting running after him!! He loved the outdoor activities, such as aeroball and canoeing and was even allowed a turn at climbing (at his request). He particularly enjoyed the animal farm and we got some fantastic photos of him. All the children enjoyed walking around the bay and the quick sand experiment. This was not recommended for under-fives but my two year old really enjoyed it, as it was a very sensory experience with all the different textures of the sand / mud / water. My children took advantage of the French lessons, which was great value for money. The food was delicious and the wine was plentiful.
We would definitely visit again!!
